Holy Tamales! Texas Tamale Company, We Approve
Review - For the life of me, I can’t understand why tamales have never gone mainstream in this country. Sure, they’re popular enough, but given our love for Mexican food and our current passion for street grub, they ought to be even more popular than they are. They’re comforting, with soft spongy masa dough giving way to a filling as spicy — or not spicy — as you want. They’re usually small, meaning a tamale or two can be a pleasant small indulgence. That leads to one of the best thing about tamales: They’re scalable. One or two tamales for a light snack, three or more for a meal as substantial as you want it to be. Read full review...
Jenn UnCorked
Review - With the holidays right around the corner, this means family gatherings and parties. Here is a great option to the “what will we serve” question. The pricing is great and very economical especially for the amount of food you get. I had a wonderful time UnCorking Texas Tamale Company and I am thankful to those who took part in the tasting. Spice It Up
Review - I tried the spinach and black bean tamales with their warm, bubbling chili con queso. I steamed them (you can also heat in the microwave) and they were so tasty. I couldn’t stop unwrapping the husks to taste the soft, warm goodness of beans, cheese and spices. Another favorite? The packaging. It comes in a soft linen-like bag with a drawstring. Fun touch. Texas Tamale Company Delivers Tamales and More
Review - Our favorites were a big surprise. We'd never heard of spinach tamales before, but when we bit into one we were hooked. Dense, herbal notes that really didn't scream spinach was our first take, and the counterpoint of this rich flavor and a light texture made this a delightful change from an ordinary tamale. We'd order these again in a heartbeat. Read full review...

Review - First of all, the spicy, savory, sweet smell of this meal was really, really good. Even served on a disposable plate at this quaint storefront restaurant, it was a fiesta and a feast for the eyes.
