In my experience, some of the best cooking comes from these small hole-in-the-wall places, so we were excited. The cooks are very hard-working and put a lot of effort into all of the food and it tastes very good and overall it was a pleasant find. Tip: make sure you eat your tamales with a Mexican coke (natural sugar as opposed to high fructose corn syrup stuff), which is not as overpoweringly sweet and tastes much better and goes great with Mexican food! |
